Today, we watched the Elimination Chamber LIVE on a local cable channel and it was a solid PPV. Both chambers, Raw and Smackdown, were entertaining to watch although I feel that Raw’s Elimination Chamber were more balanced. Smackdown’s Elimination Chamber were filled with small guys and kinda dragged in some parts during the match.
As for the results, John Cena won Raw’s Elimination Chamber and became the new WWE Champion for about a 10 minutes or less. LOL! After the match, the Chairman appeared on the ramp and ordered Cena to defend the title against Batista. Batista pinned John Cena after a spear and a Batista Bomb making him the new WWE Champion. I have seen many versions of this particular video but today I think I have found the best version of it. In this version, Hitler furiously scolds his cohorts about Presidential Candidate Manny Villar’s C-5 Road Scandal and how it benefited the Senator’s Real Estate Properties.
It seems that Hitler wants Senator Manny Villar to become our country’s next President because, according to the video subtitles, he believes that only the Senator can help him destroy our country. Ha ha ha! Read the rest of this entry »
While watching the local news today, I learned that Presidential Candidate, Senator Manny Villar, is up in the latest Survey Ratings. Well, it wasn’t a bit surprising because Senator Manny Villar is practically burning millions of pesos in his campaign. How? Just watch television and you’ll find out and it doesn’t matter which channel or network it is too.
Everyday his political/campaign advertisements are shown in every channel, in every network and in every corner of the country and it’s not just one ad, it’s a variety of ads. Ads with street children and poor people, ads with songs and ads with celebrities like Michael V (Bitoy) and Dolphy. In fact, he has the most campaign ads aired everyday amongst all the Presidential Candidates and if you are a television watcher then I’m certain that you have seen his ads not once but many times a day. The video below shows the inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a maximum security prison here in the Philippines, dancing to Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us”. Ironic isn’t it that they should be dancing to that song. I’m pretty sure that many people, specially their friends and family, still do care about them.
The dance was choreographed by Michale Jackson’s long-time choreographer Travis Payne. With him are dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid. This video will be included in the DVD release of “This Is It”. Read the rest of this entry »
My first time watching Showtime was during the Christmas break last December 2009. I must admit that it was a very entertaining show and its high ratings can attest to that. In fact, SiS got cancelled because of Showtime.
Unfortunately, Showtime was slapped with a 20 days suspension by the MTRCB. One of the Guest Judge, namely Rosanna Roces, insulted and belittled our Teachers in one of her commentary. See the video after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
