I was watching the fight LIVE through SopCast when my eldest son told me that the fight was also being broadcasted LIVE by a local cable channel. I closed SopCast and decided to watch the fight on TV instead. Watching the fight on TV through a local channel was way better than watching it in SopCast.
As expected, Manny Pacquiao dominated the entire match with Cotto only winning the first round. Cotto even went down twice. Once in the third round and again in the fourth round. After the ninth round, Cotto was no longer fighting. He contented himself to just moving away from Manny. The referee stopped the fight in the 12th round amidst a barrage of punches being thrown by Manny Pacquiao towards Miguel Cotto. [...continue reading Manny Pacquiao Defeats Miguel Cotto]

The other day, my wife was talking about Noynoy Aquino’s new Television Ad. She said it featured a lot of stars from both the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks. I was not able to comment about since I have not seen it yet at that time so I spent the entire day watching local television just to see what she was talking about. I don’t know if I missed it or it wasn’t shown anymore because I never saw it aired.
Having internet access at home, I was able to view it on YouTube which is what I should have done in the first place. Waiting for it to be aired on local television was silly and stupid. LOL! [...continue reading “Hindi Ka Nag-iisa” Noynoy Aquino]

A couple of days ago Former Philippine President Joseph Estrada formally announced his candidacy for President in next year’s National Elections. His running mate who will run for Vice President will be Mayor Jejomar Binay of Makati City. The announcement was held in Tondo, Manila where most, if not all, of his movies made. Around 20,000 people came to cheer and support the Former Philippine President.
The question now is, will the Supreme Court or the Commission on Elections allow Former President Erap to run? Currently, their is an issue with his eligibility to run again for President because the Philippine Constitution only allows a President to serve for one term. I guess, I’ll just leave this part of the discussion to the Supreme Court but if I were to decide then I would let Former President Estrada run in 2010. [...continue reading Let ERAP Run in 2010]

I love watching animes but not all animes. Ranma 1/2 was one of those animes that I never watched until now. My eldest son seems to like watching it and he has yet to miss an episode. I got curious and started watching with him.
Ranma 1/2
Ranma 1/2 is a silly but entertaining anime to watch with lots of crazy martial arts fighting action. It also has some partial nudity specially when Ranma turns into a girl so I wouldn’t recommend this to any kids under 15. Luckily for us, the version aired on our local public channel is highly edited and censored that you wouldn’t see any nudity at all. [...continue reading Ranma 1/2]
