At Cyber Sunday, defending World Heavy Weight Champion Batista cleanly defeated the Undertaker to retain the championship. Stone Cold Steve Austin won the vote to work the match as Guest Referee and he did a nice job with it by not interfering with the match.

It was a good match, in fact it was the match of the night, but still it wasn’t what you would expect from a pay-per-view.
Batista successfully pinned the Undertaker after 2 Batista Bombs. I felt that the setup for the finish was out of place because the Undertaker just stood-up and took the second Batista Bomb. I guess he was still groggy from the first Batista Bomb. I also didn’t understand why the Undertaker kept on pounding Batista’s left shoulder but never followed up on it or even took advantage of it. Well, Batista sold it good though.
Batista finally defeated the Undertaker and I would like to commend the Undertaker for putting Batista over, BIG! The Undertaker is a true veteran and even though he lost, he wasn’t shown or portrayed as weak. It took two Batista Bombs to keep the Dead Man down.
I’m guessing that this feud between Batista and the Undertaker will continue until Edge returns to Smackdown.
