It seems that the UK also has its own version of the America’s Got Talent aptly called Britain’s Got Talent. The Got Talent series is different from the Idol series because the former features all sorts of talents not just singing which is what the latter is better known for.
Now, in the 2008 edition of Britain’s Got Talent two Filipinos (well, the other one is actually half filipino) took center stage and amazed the viewers. They are Madonna Decena and a young boy named Charlie Green. (more…)
Not too long ago, news broke out regarding the conducts of some doctors and nurses at a hospital in Cebu. I didn’t give it much attention back then because I thought it was just another one of those silly patient-doctor disputes but I was wrong it was more than that. Late last year and early this year, The Price of Tennis became one of my favorite sport anime. I first saw The Prince of Tennis at a local public channel by accident. Being a fan of other sport animes like Wild Striker, Slam Dunk and Knockout, The Prince of Tennis immediately caught my interest thus watching it became a daily schedule. (more…)
The first movie, The Hulk, was very huge. It was a very huge disappointment indeed. I dragged my wife 87 kilometers away from home just to watch this supposed to be awesome movie about the Hulk but all we got to see was a bore fest of a movie. Yes, my wife literally slept through it and I think I did too although I was fighting real hard to stay awake. (more…)
