I love watching animes but not all animes. Ranma 1/2 was one of those animes that I never watched until now. My eldest son seems to like watching it and he has yet to miss an episode. I got curious and started watching with him.

Ranma 1/2

Ranma 1/2 is a silly but entertaining anime to watch with lots of crazy martial arts fighting action. It also has some partial nudity specially when Ranma turns into a girl so I wouldn’t recommend this to any kids under 15. Luckily for us, the version aired on our local public channel is highly edited and censored that you wouldn’t see any nudity at all.

I did miss a few episodes of the first season of Ranma 1/2 but, as always, I was able to watch it in full through the many video hosting sites out there like YouTube and Veoh. The quality of the videos are not that good but they’re still watchable. In YouTube, the videos are split in parts, usually 3 parts, which made watching more difficult.

Fortunately, my search brought me to ZOMG Anime. It is a site where you can watch your favorite animes for FREE. Of course, the videos are not hosted there. For example, most of Ranma 1/2 episodes are hosted at Veoh. ZOMG Anime just compile a list of links to pages where the video codes are embedded. They don’t actually host any videos on their servers.

Anyway, I’ve already finished watching Season 1 or Ranma 1/2 and I might continue watching the succeeding seasons at ZOMG Anime, if the episodes are still available. Videos like these are often taken down by video hosting sites for copyright violation but they are usually re-uploaded back after a day or two. LOL!
