Manny Pacquiao Defeats Miguel Cotto
I was watching the fight LIVE through SopCast when my eldest son told me that the fight was also being broadcasted LIVE by a local cable channel. I closed SopCast and decided to watch the fight on TV instead. Watching the fight on TV through a local channel was way better than watching it in SopCast.

As expected, Manny Pacquiao dominated the entire match with Cotto only winning the first round. Cotto even went down twice. Once in the third round and again in the fourth round. After the ninth round, Cotto was no longer fighting. He contented himself to just moving away from Manny. The referee stopped the fight in the 12th round amidst a barrage of punches being thrown by Manny Pacquiao towards Miguel Cotto.
Cotto was clearly just trying to finish the 12 round fight standing. He was no longer fighting which annoyed Manny Pacquiao a couple of times. His face was already beaten to a pulped compared to Manny Pacquiao’s unscathed face. It wasn’t surprising when the referee stopped the fight. In fact, Cotto should be thankful because, with still 2 minutes in the round, he was saved from taking in more damage.
With this win against Miguel Cotto, Manny Pacquiao made boxing history by becoming the first and only boxer to win 7 titles in 7 weight division. A magnificent feat that can only be done by a magnificent fighter such as Manny Pacquiao.
Mabuhay ka Manny Pacquiao!
