My web surfing today led me to a flash game that checks how fast your reactions are. There was nothing really fancy about it but it was kinda fun for a while. I did a few tries but I can’t seem to get pass the 0.2 seconds mark.

The game is very simple. Just click on the dart once a sheep starts running. The faster you click the better you’ll score but if you click before any sheep runs then you’ll incur a 3 second penalty.

I’ve always wanted to test how fast my reaction time is and this is somewhat a fun way of checking it. Now I know how slow I am with the mouse. No wonder I can’t win in any games that requires speed or button smashing. I guess I’m not as fast as I used to. LOL!

Here is a nice little game which I happen to come across while stumbling. Yeah, I do use that Stumble button from time to time and I’ve discovered some really nice sites with it.

Make as many box as you can by connecting the dots!

The game is pretty simple really. In each turn, you will form a line by clicking on two nearby dots (or radio buttons) and then the computer will do the same. Now, you will score once you placed a line that will create a box. It doesn’t matter if you or the computer did most of the lines as long as you are the one who placed the final line that enclosed it. Keep on going until the entire grid is filled with boxes. The player with the most box wins.

I played a few games against the computer but the computer was not very smart in connecting his dots because I beat it all the time. I then tried to get a perfect score against the computer but it wasn’t that easy as I thought it would be. LOL!

Ragnarok Online and OZ World were the first mmos I played. These two titles were brought here in the Philippines by Level Up Games. I remember spending a lot of my free time playing these games but eventually I grew tired of them and I moved on to other mmos like Guild Wars, City Of Villains, Khan Online, Anarchy Online and others.

After Khan Online, which I played for almost 3 years, my interest was caught by virtual worlds like Entropia Universe and Second Life where players can earn real life money from playing the game.

Anyway, currently I’m active in Cabal Online and Second Life. Cabal Online is an mmorpg published here in the Philippines by e-Games PH and Second Life is a virtual world developed by Linden Labs.

Cabal Online

Cabal Online is really just your typical mmorpg with a few extra features thrown in like the combo system but still this game got me interested. I never liked any of e-Games games except for this one and I’ve tried most of them.

I am now at my third week of playing this game and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. The only thing that might turn me off from the game is the rampant botting which is currently plaguing the game.

Rampant botting was also the main reason why I stopped playing Ragnarok Online years ago because the publisher of that game, Level Up Games, didn’t have the will and the initiative to combat it. I’ve heard that it’s the only thing that’s keeping the game alive here in the Philippines which is very sad.

I just hope that Cabal Online Philippines doesn’t suffer the same faith as Ragnarok Online Philippines has.

Second Life

Second Life is not really a game. It is a virtual world where people can somewhat live a second life. There are people who actually found success in Second Life but there are also many who didn’t.

What got me interested in Second Life is the fact that you can earn real money from it and I’m happy to say that I’ve earned a few hundred dollars from it. In fact, I paid my webhosting with money I earned from Second Life.

Another thing that I like to do in Second Life is to explore new regions. You see, Second Life is made up of regions or sims that were built by its residents. My current favorite is the RPG Empire regions which is composed of sims all dedicated to role play and combat.

Anyway, these two titles, Cabal Online and Second Life, is where I’m spending my free time in (besides blogging) and I’m really enjoying my time in them.

Through my card dropping, I recently discovered a very fun and addictive flash game called Mini Tower Of Defense. I posted a link about it at i-TONG.com. It is based on Warcraft 3’s Tower of Defense but this one is much smaller in scale but the addictive property of the game is pretty much the same. I’ve been playing for some time now at Warcraft-Zone and even Pinoy Dreamer blogged about it.

This game has really slowed down my card dropping. You see, Warcraft-Zone is in my drop list and every time I’m on that page I just can’t stop myself from playing at least one round which will lead to trying another round and then another and then another… LOL!

For some reason, I can’t seem to break that level 34 barrier. Hmmmm… needs more practice I guess. LOL!

Update: Just broke the level 34 barrier.
