Tonight two Davids face-off in American Idol’s Final Performance Night and it’s not unexpected that we will see the two Davids there. Early on in the competition, I have always had this feeling that David Archuleta will make it to the finals and, guess what, he did and seeing David Cook there is not surprising because he has been performing really strong since day one. It seems that the UK also has its own version of the America’s Got Talent aptly called Britain’s Got Talent. The Got Talent series is different from the Idol series because the former features all sorts of talents not just singing which is what the latter is better known for.
Now, in the 2008 edition of Britain’s Got Talent two Filipinos (well, the other one is actually half filipino) took center stage and amazed the viewers. They are Madonna Decena and a young boy named Charlie Green. [...continue reading Filipinos Got Talent]

Thanks to YouTube, I was able to watch all of the performances in yesterday’s American Idol episode and I must say that this week belongs to David Archuleta once again. I’m not familiar (because I’m not really a Dolly Parton fan) with the song David sang but he sang it beautifully.

Okay, I wasn’t able to watch the performance of the Top 11 this week because we were moving to our new home but I was able to watch the elimination.
