My first time watching Showtime was during the Christmas break last December 2009. I must admit that it was a very entertaining show and its high ratings can attest to that. In fact, SiS got cancelled because of Showtime.
Unfortunately, Showtime was slapped with a 20 days suspension by the MTRCB. One of the Guest Judge, namely Rosanna Roces, insulted and belittled our Teachers in one of her commentary. See the video after the jump. (more…)
My wife loves watching Korean Dramas on local TV and, since we only have one television, I am forced to watch them with her. I don’t like many of them but the ones I like most are Jumong, The Legend, Jewel in the Palace and Song of the Prince.
Currently, Song of the Prince is aired everyday at 3:00pm on QTV 11, a local channel here in the Philippines. It is a story of a Young Prince who didn’t know he was a prince and was raised as a commoner. He fell in-love with Princess whom later became his Queen. (more…)
Yesterday, I finished watching the entire first season of Babylon 5 including the pilot episode, The Gathering. My interest in Babylon 5 was ignited after watching a series of telemovies about it in a local cable channel (In The Beginning, Third Space, River of Souls and Call to Arms). After watching the telemovies, I then had this feeling or craving to learn more about Babylon 5 and what better way to that is by watching the original television series.
Unfortunately, Babylon 5 has been long canceled and I don’t think it will make a return anytime soon. Now how can I watch it? Fortunately, my search lead me to a Japanese video hosting website much like YouTube. There I found, not only the first season but the entire 5 seasons of Babylon 5. (more…)
One of my favorite TV series today is House and I get to watch it through a local cable channel. The reason I like House is that it’s simply entertaining. I admit that I know nothing about medicine except a few regular terms like cold, fever and flu but it’s just so darn entertaining that I keep watching it week after week.
Last week, the final two episodes of Season 4 was aired and it seems that the local cable channel I was watching it was delayed by an entire season because Season 5 of House already started in the US. I don’t know when the latest season will be shown because they just started doing re-runs of the entire Season 4. I’m guessing that they’ll finish the re-run before airing the new episodes which could eventually take a month or two, depending on how they schedule it. (more…)
Tonight two Davids face-off in American Idol’s Final Performance Night and it’s not unexpected that we will see the two Davids there. Early on in the competition, I have always had this feeling that David Archuleta will make it to the finals and, guess what, he did and seeing David Cook there is not surprising because he has been performing really strong since day one. Now, the two Davids must put everything on the line and go all out if they want to become the next American Idol. (more…)
