I really don’t watch the news anymore but thanks to the internet I still get updates on what is happening around me. Today, while lurking in one of my favorite forum a thread about the King of Pop’s death was started. As always, forum members debated and argued about the validity of the news and that the King of Pop was only in a coma. After hours and pages of argument and debate, it was later confirmed that the King of Pop died of Cardiac Arrest.

The King of Pop, Dead!

Of course, I was saddened by the news. I grew up listening to his music and even tried copying many of his dance moves. I may not like all of his songs but I do like most of it. My favorites are Thriller, Billie Jean, Bad, Heal The World, Black or White, Ben, Smooth Criminal and Man In The Mirror. I know there are more songs by the King of Pop but this are the ones that I really like most besides I wasn’t able to follow and hear them all anyway. LOL!

Anyway, the King of Pop may have died but his music and songs will stay with us forever. Below are Music Videos of some of his songs.

This is an awesome remix of Christian Bale’s rant that was recorded, leaked and spread all over the internet. For those who don’t know or have no idea what Christian Bale did, I’ve also included it in here. Don’t you just love YouTube? Ha ha ha!

Prior to Batman Begins, I don’t know who Christian Bale was but after watching him in Batman Begins, he immediately became one of my favorite actor in Hollywood. His so called rant on the set of Terminator Salvation, that is understandable specially if you are the lead star on a big name movie like Terminator Salvation. People will expect a lot from him and I guess that is why he wants to make each of his scene perfect and people walking around while doing a scene is indeed distracting.

Yesterday, I finished watching the entire first season of Babylon 5 including the pilot episode, The Gathering. My interest in Babylon 5 was ignited after watching a series of telemovies about it in a local cable channel (In The Beginning, Third Space, River of Souls and Call to Arms). After watching the telemovies, I then had this feeling or craving to learn more about Babylon 5 and what better way to that is by watching the original television series.

Unfortunately, Babylon 5 has been long canceled and I don’t think it will make a return anytime soon. Now how can I watch it? Fortunately, my search lead me to a Japanese video hosting website much like YouTube. There I found, not only the first season but the entire 5 seasons of Babylon 5.

I just watched part two of the Fantastic Four movie, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and it’s a little bit better than the first one although I would have love it if they made Galactus land on Earth then followed by a great battle between the Fantastic Four with Silver Surfer against the devourer of worlds, Galactus. Man, that would have been awesome but unfortunately that never happened in the movie. Oh well, I guess they’ll do it in future sequels (if it will have any).

The Fantastic Four ?

After watching the movie, I went online to find out if there is going to be a Fantastic Four 3 and the stories I got were not very conclusive.  A few stories say that the Fantastic Four is history and that Fox is leaning towards a Silver Surfer spin-off rather than a third installment to the Fantastic Four. Oh well, I guess if they go with Silver Surfer then there is a big chance that we will see that battle between SIlver Surfer and Galactus and we might even see the Fantastic Four in there.

My search also brought me to a 1990’s version of the Fantastic Four which was completed in 1994 but was never released or was never intended to be released. I followed some links and I was able to view the entire movie online well not entirely. The movie was split into four parts but the last part or the fourth part never loaded which kinda sucks because I wanted to know how it ends. LOL!

Anyway, the movie was terrible. The only thing that looked good in the movie was the Invisible Girl, although, they did get Doctor Doom’s costume right. He he he!

Today I stumbled upon a funny article about Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin. It seems that two Canadian pranksters pulled a fast one on her. The pranksters are Sebastien Trudel and Marc-Antoine Audette who are well known for doing prank calls on celebrities and their latest victim was US Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin.

A Fool! It's a Clown not a Fool! LOL! Whatever!

Marc-Antoine Audette posed as French President Nicolas Sarkozy and called Gov. Sarah Palin. Audette, posing as Sarkozy, mentioned things like he sees her as president too and both of them agreed to go hunting.

The Alaskan Governor also didn’t know that Nailin Paylin is a porn film and not a documentary. She said thank you when the fake French President complimented her about it. Ha ha ha!

I was laughing out loud while I was reading the article. For a US Vice Presidentiable she sure is easy to fool. Read the full article here.

She sounded pissed off rather than “mildly amused”. LOL!

My web surfing today led me to a flash game that checks how fast your reactions are. There was nothing really fancy about it but it was kinda fun for a while. I did a few tries but I can’t seem to get pass the 0.2 seconds mark.

My Best Reaction Time

The game is very simple. Just click on the dart once a sheep starts running. The faster you click the better you’ll score but if you click before any sheep runs then you’ll incur a 3 second penalty.

I’ve always wanted to test how fast my reaction time is and this is somewhat a fun way of checking it. Now I know how slow I am with the mouse. No wonder I can’t win in any games that requires speed or button smashing. I guess I’m not as fast as I used to. LOL!

Just finished watching WWE’s No Mercy and good thing I didn’t pay for it but I did watch it legally. It was shown in a local cable channel as a special feature. Anyway, I felt that most, if not all, of the matches were not worth to be on a pay-per-view. All feels short and the setup of each spot move were too obvious. It’s a very mediocre PPV. In fact, I fell asleep during Triple H’s and Jeff Hardy’s match.

The PPV started with the ECW Championship match between Matt Hardy and Mark Henry. I know Matt won’t lose the title to Mark Henry since he just won it at Unforgiven but, come on, do they have to make the match suck as well. I feel that Matt didn’t do enough damage to make the defeat of Henry believable. Hey, it’s fake but it doesn’t have to look fake, right?

The Women’s Championship match between Beth Phoenix and Candice Michelle followed the ECW match. I don’t care much for WWE’s women’s division but I do like looking at most of them. For some reason, the match was okay maybe because I wasn’t expecting anything from the two ladies or maybe I was just glad it was over that quick.

The next match was between Rey Mysterio and Kane and honestly it was a decent match with Rey doing what he does best and that is to fly. I’m just disappointed that it ended in a disqualification. My guess is that, this thing with Kane and Rey isn’t over yet.

The Batista versus JBL Number One Contender’s match ended rather quickly. Batista was all over JBL, although JBL did do a few moves here and there but the entire match was all Batista. It was like, WWE just wanted to get that match over with so that Batista can be the number one contender once again for the championship. Wait a minute, I think the whole segment between Cryme Tyme and JBL, including JBL’s monologue, took longer than his match with Batista.

That was followed by the match between the Bigshow and the Undertaker. Again, this match is like a Smackdown setup match. There was nothing special in it and I still can’t believe that the Undertaker can be taken out that easily with a couple of punches. It’s not very Undertaker like.

I wasn’t able to watch the WWE Championship match between Triple H and Jeff Hardy because, as I’ve said above, I fell asleep. I woke up with Triple H overturning Jeff Hardy’s cover to pin Jeff Hardy and to retain the title. Anyway, I don’t think Jeff would ever become WWE Champion. I feel that WWE is just teasing the fans of a posible Jeff Hardy title run to keep them excited and wanting only to drop the belt to someone else.

In general, I was not too impressed with this year’s No Mercy. As I’ve said, the matches were too short, too predictable and they were not exciting. In short, the execution of the matches were not PPV material.

One of my favorite TV series today is House and I get to watch it through a local cable channel. The reason I like House is that it’s simply entertaining. I admit that I know nothing about medicine except a few regular terms like cold, fever and flu but it’s just so darn entertaining that I keep watching it week after week.

Last week, the final two episodes of Season 4 was aired and it seems that the local cable channel I was watching it was delayed by an entire season because Season 5 of House already started in the US. I don’t know when the latest season will be shown because they just started doing re-runs of the entire Season 4. I’m guessing that they’ll finish the re-run before airing the new episodes which could eventually take a month or two, depending on how they schedule it.

Man, that’s a long time to wait. When I first heard about the new season being aired I immediately searched the web for video sites that might have it but unfortunately I didn’t find any. I guess the copyright or anti-piracy law are breathing down the necks of most video sharing sites making them unable to host recorded TV shows.

Anyway, season 4 of House ended with the death of Amber. The two part season finale was not your typical House episode. In a way, it was kinda sad. Anyway, Season 5 started where Season 4 ended with the death of Amber. The first episode has House thinking if he was responsible for Amber’s death and with Wilson quiting his job at the hospital.

I can’t wait to watch Season 5 of House but in the meantime I’ll just enjoy watching reruns of Season 4 until our local cable company airs the new Season.

I’m sure everyone in the world knows what happened on September 11, 2001. It was the day when terror strike America. Even though, we were halfway around the world what happened there also affected us here. Tighter security measures were implemented everywhere specially in crowded public places. Anyway, we’ve seen the reports and watched what happened on that day many times. It was highly covered by media.

Yesterday, I stumbled upon a YouTube video documentary about what, allegedly, happened on that day. The video was titled The 9/11 Chronicles: Part One, Truth Rising. Well, it looked interesting so I watched it. It’s almost 2 hours long and it claims that what happened on September 11, 2001 was staged by the US Government itself. It’s really kinda shocking if that was true but, remember, these are just claims and it was noticeable in the video that most political figures in the US kinda just ignored the issue.

Anyway, I don’t want to discuss all 2 hours of it in this post so I’ll just let you watch the video and let you decide for yourself.

I must admit that some of the questions and claims the group presented do need some answers but will they get their answers? Would they finally find the truth they’re looking for?
