Just finished watching WWE’s No Mercy and good thing I didn’t pay for it but I did watch it legally. It was shown in a local cable channel as a special feature. Anyway, I felt that most, if not all, of the matches were not worth to be on a pay-per-view. All feels short and the setup of each spot move were too obvious. It’s a very mediocre PPV. In fact, I fell asleep during Triple H’s and Jeff Hardy’s match.

The PPV started with the ECW Championship match between Matt Hardy and Mark Henry. I know Matt won’t lose the title to Mark Henry since he just won it at Unforgiven but, come on, do they have to make the match suck as well. I was able to watch the entire 2008 Royal Rumble yesterday and no I’m not talking about the Jimmy Snuka/Roddy Piper thing. I’m referring to the Y2J and JBL’s match where Y2J missed a move but JBL still went down hard on the canvass. Too bad for them, the entire Madison Square Garden caught it and I almost fell out of my chair when I saw JBL fell down like a log. LOL! That particular sequence totally destroyed the match. Y2J was a bloody mess and I felt both tried hard to salvage the match from the botch but all I can think of was JBL falling down from a missed move.
