TNA Lockdown 2010 is what you call an EXTREME RULES PPV. It was far from being a perfect show but, overall, it was AWESOME! If you have been conditioned to enjoy WWE matches and programming then you will definitely NOT like TNA Lockdown.

This years TNA Lockdown featured the following matches and all of them were inside a Steel Cage:

Rob Van Dam versus James Storm

Homicide versus Brian Kendrick versus Chris Sabin versus Alex Shelly

Kevin Nash versus Eric Young

Velvet Skye and Madison Rayne versus Tara and Angelina Love (TNA Knockout and Tag Championship)

Kazarian versus Shannon Moore versus Homicide (TNA X Division Championship)

Team 3D versus Kevin Nash and Scott Hall

Kurt Angle versus Mr. Anderson

Pope D’Angelo Dinero versus AJ Styles (TNA World Heavyweight Championship)

Team Hogan: Abyss, Jeff Hardy, RVD and Jeff Jarrett versus Team Flair: Sting, James Storm, Robert Roode, Desmond Wolfe (Lethal Lockdown)

TNA Lockdown 2010 was an awesome PPV and I enjoyed all the matches but the ones I really like were Kurt Angle versus Mr. Anderson, AJ Styles versus D’Angelo Dinero and the X Division Matches. Some memorable moments of the show were Jeff Hardy on top of a ladder which is on top of the steel cage and jumping down on the table which is also on top of the steel cage, Team 3D squashing the Outsiders and doing the 3D on Scott Hall and Kurt Angle’s moonsault on top of the cage.

The only part that I kinda didn’t like was when Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff came into the ring at the later part of the Lethal Lockdown match. I know that they’re just telling a story but I felt that they could have done it at the end of the match instead. There interference kinda messed up everything for me.

As for being extreme, TNA Lockdown 2010 was EXTREME. If I remember it correctly, the only match that didn’t have any blood was the Knockouts Tag Match. They got tables, baseball bats, garbage cans and lids, kendo stick, tacks and, most importantly, BLOOD! Now that is what an EXTREME RULES PPV should be.

This year’s Bound For Glory was simply amazing. From the Ultimate X up to the Main Event with Sting and Kurt Angle, every match was awesome.

My favorite matches were the Ultimate X with LAX versus Triple X, the X Division Title Match with Black Machismo Jay Lethal versus Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, the TNA Knockout Title Match with Gail Kim winning the title and of course the TNA Heaveyweight Championship Match with the Icon, Sting, versus Kurt Angle with Sting winning the gold.

I admit that I am not familiar with 50% of the wrestlers that competed in Bound for Glory 2007 but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. It just shows that if the matches are good then it is enough for a casual fan to enjoy it.

Oh, I almost forgot the match between Samoa Joe and Christian Cage. These two put up a great match and it’s not even a title match. What more if it was? It’ll be more than great. I never liked Christian in WWE but that changed after seeing how he performs in TNA.

If Bound For Glory 2007 was a preview of what to expect with TNA in coming months then we will surely see a big increase in its following.

TNA must be what it was created to be, an alternative to WWE and not become another WWE clone.

Bound For Glory Results:

The Latin American Xchange defeated XXX in the Ultimate X match to earn a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championship

Eric Young won the first round of the Fight For The Right tournament

AJ Styles and Tomko defeated Team Pacman to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions

“Black Machismo” Jay Lethal defeated “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels to retain the X Division Championship

The Steiner Brothers defeated Team 3D in a tables match

Gail Kim became the first TNA Women’s Champion by winning the Gauntlet Battle Royal

Samoa Joe handed Christian Cage his first submission defeat in TNA Wrestling

Abyss won the Monster’s Ball Match, pinning Raven

Sting defeated Kurt Angle to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion
