The video below shows the inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a maximum security prison here in the Philippines, dancing to Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us”. Ironic isn’t it that they should be dancing to that song. I’m pretty sure that many people, specially their friends and family, still do care about them.

The dance was choreographed by Michale Jackson’s long-time choreographer Travis Payne. With him are dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid. This video will be included in the DVD release of “This Is It”.

The inmates of CPDRC became instant internet celebrities after their “Thriller” dance video got uploaded in YouTube. As of this writing, that particular video has reached a total of 37,820,370 views and still rising. (see video below)

The success of their first video lead to more dance videos being uploaded and it got wide media following. The Pinoy Big Brother housemates even visited them and had the pleasure of dancing with them. They also danced the “Bilog Na Hugis Itlog” with the Sex Bomb Girls.

They were also featured by CNN in various occasions and the most notable one was during their tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. As you will see from the video that CNN’s Correspondent was really having a great time covering the event.

I love watching animes but not all animes. Ranma 1/2 was one of those animes that I never watched until now. My eldest son seems to like watching it and he has yet to miss an episode. I got curious and started watching with him.

Ranma 1/2

Ranma 1/2 is a silly but entertaining anime to watch with lots of crazy martial arts fighting action. It also has some partial nudity specially when Ranma turns into a girl so I wouldn’t recommend this to any kids under 15. Luckily for us, the version aired on our local public channel is highly edited and censored that you wouldn’t see any nudity at all.

I did miss a few episodes of the first season of Ranma 1/2 but, as always, I was able to watch it in full through the many video hosting sites out there like YouTube and Veoh. The quality of the videos are not that good but they’re still watchable. In YouTube, the videos are split in parts, usually 3 parts, which made watching more difficult.

Fortunately, my search brought me to ZOMG Anime. It is a site where you can watch your favorite animes for FREE. Of course, the videos are not hosted there. For example, most of Ranma 1/2 episodes are hosted at Veoh. ZOMG Anime just compile a list of links to pages where the video codes are embedded. They don’t actually host any videos on their servers.

Anyway, I’ve already finished watching Season 1 or Ranma 1/2 and I might continue watching the succeeding seasons at ZOMG Anime, if the episodes are still available. Videos like these are often taken down by video hosting sites for copyright violation but they are usually re-uploaded back after a day or two. LOL!

This is an awesome remix of Christian Bale’s rant that was recorded, leaked and spread all over the internet. For those who don’t know or have no idea what Christian Bale did, I’ve also included it in here. Don’t you just love YouTube? Ha ha ha!

Prior to Batman Begins, I don’t know who Christian Bale was but after watching him in Batman Begins, he immediately became one of my favorite actor in Hollywood. His so called rant on the set of Terminator Salvation, that is understandable specially if you are the lead star on a big name movie like Terminator Salvation. People will expect a lot from him and I guess that is why he wants to make each of his scene perfect and people walking around while doing a scene is indeed distracting.

For the second time this season of American Idol, Renaldo Lapuz stole the spotlight but this time he stole it from the two finalist, David Cook and David Archuleta.

According to his website (yes, he now has his own website), RenaldoLapuz.com, his appearance in the show was a surprise. He was flew in by American Idol on Monday and was told not to leave his hotel room until the final show. OMG! He stayed locked up for almost 3 days? Ha ha ha!

I’m so happy for this guy. To think that he was just an ordinary tricycle driver here in the Philippines but look at him now, an international celebrity. God does work in mysterious ways.
